Job description

Job Title: Distribution Technician - Shipping

Work Location: Warminster, PA


Role Synopsis:
This position is part of a team environment responsible for receiving goods and raw materials, picking, staging, and shipping finished goods, and operating production equipment safely and efficiently. The role primarily involves the picking/staging and shipment of finished goods to various network warehouses.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Perform all work safely and efficiently, following documented procedures.
  • Collaborate with others to receive raw materials, package finished products, and ship lubricants, adhering to bp and OSHA standards.
  • Safely operate a forklift or other powered equipment to load, unload, stack, and stage products.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization.
  • Accurately complete paperwork for inventory control and compliance with local, state, and federal shipment regulations.
  • Set up and operate machinery to inspect, fill, weigh, label, and pack containers.
  • Inspect packaged items for conformity to specifications.
  • Pick, stage, and ship finished goods to warehouses, ensuring timely shipments and adherence to processes.

Essential Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Essential Experience and Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (production, warehouse, or process).
  • Certified to safely operate a forklift.
  • Basic math skills and proficiency in written and verbal communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Understanding of computer programs (e.g., email, data entry).
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and highly motivated with safety leadership.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules as needed.
