Job description
We have a current opportunity for a Electrical Engineering Lead on a contract basis. The position will be based in Doha. For further information about this position please apply.
Key Accountabilities
Lead the Electrical Engineering activities for Offshore Project, ensuring technical requirements fully comply with project deliverables and standardised processes
Ensure that the Contractor’s Electrical Engineering for Topsides, Onshore Facilities (Offshore scope) Engineering, and Gas and MEG Pipeline designs comply with the Contract requirements
Participate to key design workshop and ensure that Electrical design recommendations are correctly implemented and actions closed before the end of EPCI
Supervises the Engineering interface between Structural of Topsides, Onshore Facilities (Offshore scope) and Pipeline engineering and the following teams: Operations, Drilling, Well Management, the Jacket, the pipelines from the topsides perspective, the Onshore Project Team.
Qualifications
Engineering degree/diploma or equivalent, however any qualification, technical or knowledge requirements may be waived through relevant work experience.
10+ years’ of relevant experience as Electrical Lead, in a major project environment within the oil and gas industry and having a broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction and operations.
Previous knowledge of Brownfield engineering and execution required.
