**Head of Contracts - Oil & Gas Sector**

An esteemed player in the Oil & Gas sector, based out of Doha, Qatar is seeking a seasoned professional to take on the pivotal role as Head of Contracts. This contract position offers an opportunity for individuals with extensive experience within EPC contracting and leadership skills to be part of a dynamic team leading CO2 Sequestration Projects.

MUST HAVE
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, law, or business.
* 10 years of experience in contracting related to EPC contracts out of which 5 years in leading role.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Reports to Business Division Manager
* Provide contracts engineering support to the Business Division Manager (CO2 Sequestration Project)
* Provide contractual strategy advice to the Project Management team with respect to change order, variations, and claims.
* Lead project contracting activities in issuing EPC ITT, executing tendering roadmap, and soliciting tender committee and key stakeholders' alignment and endorsement.
* Develop bid evaluation plans, procedures, and models for evaluating technical bid and commercial bids.
* Execute contract administration activities including provision of timely contractual guidance, tracking project milestones and stewarding contractors' obligations.
* Manage the global contractual daily requirements and reporting of claim and variation progress
* Support CO2 Sequestration Project Management team in handling major change orders and claims and negotiations with EPC contractors.
* Coordinate on legal issues with Legal department under the direction of the Business Division Manager.
* Support development of multiple cost/schedules driven contracting scenarios for feeding into effective contracting strategy workshops.
* Establish procedures of transferring contracts to Operations after demobilizing Project team.
