Job description
Opportunity for an Interface engineer for an operator on a Wind project on an outside of IR35 contract basis. The position will be based in London.
3 days in office 2 WFH - Potential for home based or remote working with ideal locations as Northwest England
Job Profile Summary
The interface Engineer; Engineering & Consenting on the project will support the Engineering Technical Managers for the Transmission assets through the Development Consent Order (DCO) process. The objective of the role is to manage the boundaries within which the project is seeking permission to engineer and construct its permanent assets. This is a critical role that will require strong technical understanding and fundamentals, excellent command of the English language with written and oral communication for both internal and external stakeholders and a keen ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
Who you will work with:
This role will specifically be part of an integrated client team and project team working closely with the Technical Manager and the Consenting Managers within the joint venture.
Travel may include up to 30% to Northwest England. At critical times of examination will require individual to be available to be present in region.
Engineering Degree required with 4-10 years + experience in engineering
