Project Coordinator (LDP)

6-months

Hybrid, 3 days onsite

North Chicago, IL

$25/HR



Orion Group is hiring an LDP (Learn, Develop, Perform) Project Coordinator to support the planning and execution of our pharmaceutical client's global learning and development program. This involves collaborating with departmental or cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and impactful programming for the annual Development Week in April.



LDP Project Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Utilize project management tools, such as Microsoft Project and Smartsheet, to support project plans, schedules, and budgets while collaborating with staff to identify necessary tasks for project completion.
  • Facilitate project execution by monitoring tasks, tracking schedules, identifying risks and aiding in developing and implementing contingency plans.
  • Communicate project status through standard reports and participation in departmental and customer meetings.
  • Address and resolve project issues by collaborating with team members, project stakeholders, and relevant parties.
  • Collaborate with the program manager by providing project management expertise and assisting workstream leads in implementing effective project management practices and techniques.
  • Planning and executing a week-long development program
  • Assisting with logistics, coordination, and scheduling
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure smooth program delivery
    Providing in-person support

LDP Project Coordinator Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Skilled in managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, along with excellent customer service and organizational abilities.
  • Capable of interacting with colleagues and clients at all organizational levels.
  • Shows initiative, creativity, and possesses strong strategic and analytical thinking.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Excellent attention to detail, along with strong prioritization and follow-up skills.
