Instrument and Control Engineering Lead
About Us:
Our client is a leading provider of innovative solutions in the energy sector. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Instrument and Control Engineering Lead to join our team and contribute to the successful execution of their North Field Expansion (NFXP) Offshore Project.
Job Description:
As an Instrument and Control Engineering Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the technical integrity and compliance of the project's Instrument, Control, and Telecom systems. Your responsibilities will include:
* Technical Oversight: Overseeing the design, development, and implementation of Instrument, Control, and Telecom systems for the NFXP Offshore Project, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and contract requirements.
* Project Planning: Developing and managing project schedules and deliverables, ensuring timely execution and alignment with overall project goals.
* Functional Safety: Ensuring that the project's Functional Safety systems meet the highest standards of reliability and integrity.
* Design Coordination: Collaborating with various engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of Instrument, Control, and Telecom systems within the project.
* Vendor Management: Managing relationships with contractors, vendors, and subcontractors involved in the project's Instrument and Control systems.
* Safety and Compliance: Promoting a culture of safety and compliance throughout the project, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Instrument & Control Engineering.
* Minimum 15 years of experience in Instrument and Control engineering, preferably in a major project environment within the Offshore and Onshore oil and gas industry.
* Strong understanding of engineering execution, including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction, and operations.
* Previous experience with Brownfield engineering and execution.
* Excellent written and oral English skills.
* Strong organizational, planning, coordination, technical, and management skills.
* Strong communication, influencing, and interface skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software programs.
