Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Field Performance Manager on a permanent basis. The position will be based in LONDON.

Our client has an especial focus on Africa.

The position is Field Performance Subsurface Manager, which is a full-time position based in London with hybrid working arrangements.

Job Purpose

* Make sure that the understanding of the BU fields is as deep and up to date as possible.
* Determine the optimum reservoir management strategy for each of the fields, in conjunction with the WRFM team.
* Generate both long term and short-term forecasts, using a variety of methods as appropriate.
* Responsible for creating a system of subsurface models that will support Field Performance, Field Development and WRFM teams.
* Lead the production budget process for the BU
* Responsible for the BU reserves and resources. Work with Field Developments to generate a reserve booking plan.
* Lead a team of senior reservoir engineers and geoscientists and co-ordinate their efforts to support business processes.

Experience & Education

* Degree in Petroleum Engineering,

Skills

Consider the skills set required to be successful in role:
* Must have worked for an operator in a subsurface capacity, ideally both major and independent.
* Must have led a subsurface team.
* Must have a good understanding of business drivers and how subsurface work impact business outcomes.
* Good understanding of modelling and forecasting techniques preferred.
