Job description
Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Maintenance Scheduler, based in Aberdeen.
Responsibilities
Act as maintenance scheduling focal point between offshore and onshore / head office locations and custodian of maintenance planning process.
Monitoring and reporting of maintenance KPI's and planning attainment with special attention to backlog and deferral risk assessments identifying opportunities for planning process / maintenance strategy improvement.
Monitoring of maintenance critical purchase orders as part of the maintenance planning process and work order preparation.
Supporting discipline engineers and offshore superintendents with of the PSV certification cycle and assisting in the management and monitoring of timely recertification through the maintenance planning process and work order preparation.
Supporting discipline engineers and offshore superintendents with the flexible hose inspection program and facilitation of the replacement program through the maintenance planning process and work order preparation.
Support maintenance CMMS MOC process and support the timely implementation of CMMS MOCs.
Support TAR preparation and coordination.
Support engineering Request for Modification process as required.
Requirements
Higher Level education in a relevant technical subject, or equivalent by experience.
Experience within a similar planning role in the offshore oil and gas sector (preferred).
Good working knowledge of a maintenance management system (Maximo desirable).
Good organisation and planning expertise.
Good communication and team-working skills.
Flexibility to be able to travel to offshore installations.
