Job description
Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Maintenance Team Lead, based in Aberdeen.
Responsibilities:
* Demonstrate commitment to incident free operations.
* Ensuring all maintenance activities are conducted in a manner that protects the health, safety
and welfare of the people and assets of their facility.
* Where appropriate, position to provide input to major accident hazard management, in
particular the prevention, detection, control, mitigation and response to major accidents. This
shall include input into operational risk assessments, assurance work order deferrals,
HAZOP's, HAZID's, RCA and incident investigations.
* Ensuring work programs are correctly prioritized and resourced (manpower and equipment)
and optimized within the overall workload on the facility, to meet asset business goals and
objectives.
* Directly responsible for the management and effective use of the maintenance management
system (Maximo), to demonstrate compliance with asset verification scheme, maintenance of
all safety and business critical equipment, management of backlog key performance indicators
(KPI's) and an audit trail for the regulatory authorities.
* Track the Safety Critical Element and Performance Standard compliance based on the
assurance routine deliverables
* Ensures all maintenance documentation to be sufficient and current within the business
management system
* With Marine engineer ensure Class & Verification actions being managed effectively
* Responsible for developing maintenance budget with operations teams
* Accountable for the following registers to be managed effectively: o Flexible Hose o Small Bore Tubing o Ex
o Obsolescence
* Contributing to identifying and agreeing the work programs and budgets. Direct input into 28day,
90-day, month,2 year and 5 yearly plans
* With Operations planner ensure the planning process is being following. Set KPI targets and drive the team to meet these targets.
* Provide input into root cause analysis and loss reporting
* Ensure 3rd party maintenance contracts are being managed as per procedure.
Experience & Qualifications:
* Significant experience in an operations & maintenance environment.
* Awareness of major accident hazards and knowledge of key safety legislation and regulations.
* Technical knowledge with operating and maintenance experience on marine and plant with
power generation, high voltage distribution, rotary and reciprocating machinery.
* Experience in the control and use of "Safe Systems of Work" (PTW) including their procedures.
* Experience of maintenance planning, organizing, coordinating and control/monitoring work
across a range of disciplines.
* Understanding of maintenance management systems
* Have good understanding of risk management processes and root cause failure analysis
* Ability to manage risks effectively.
* Be action orientated, results driven and able to inspire others.
* Demonstrate good leadership behaviours
* Written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present complex technical issues in
a clear and concise manner.
* Ability to create positive relations to peers and stakeholders internally and externally.
