Job description
Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for a Material Coordinator (GMP) (Production Order Picker) for our Multinational Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology client based in Breda. Initial 12-month contract, with high possibility of extension. This is a fully onsite position in 2 shifts: Early 6AM – 2:30PM and Late 2:15PM – 10:45PM.
What will you do
As production order picker you are responsible for picking materials and products in the warehouse department to be supplied to 10+ different production lines. The production order picking process is executed using the SAP system and with the use of various warehousing automation equipment, e.g. Miniload (automated storage and retrieval system) and reach trucks.
As production order picker, you perform tasks under supervision of a first line overviewer/supervisor and are guided by standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Tasks are performed using the SAP warehouse management system.

Responsibilities
- Picking production orders using Radio-Frequency (RF) scanners and the Miniload system.
- Checking of picked orders by other pickers.
- Administering picking documentation and verifying correctness, prior to hand-over to the production department.
- Releasing and managing order-picks in the SAP system in order to complete the daily workload.
- Placing returned materials and produced finished products back into warehouse storage after production (put-away process).
- Cycle Counting inventory to assure accuracy.
- Replenishment of materials from inventory to use points (Kanban system).
- Emptying & processing waste containers from- & to the Production department.
- Reach truck license.
- MBO education (level) of working and thinking.
- Relevant work experience in a logistics/warehousing role.
- Experience in a pharmaceutical environment or another highly regulated industry (Chemical, Food).
- Experience with the SAP warehouse management system.
- Able to speak and understand Dutch & English.
- Quality focused mindset and accuracy.
