Job description
Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Occupational Health Co-ordinator - Offshore Resources, based in Aberdeen.
Responsibilities:
* Develops and fosters a positive HSEQ culture throughout the company.
* Participate in the review and updates of the Company Health Manual
* Support the delivery of a new medical system for the global fleet
* Responsible for the medical standards of the global fleet.
* Develops the Health Initiative section of the annual HR plan for the company fleet.
* Responsible for the efficient, timely, accurate and cost-effective management and delivery of the function's health activities within the fleet.
* Creates and maintains job descriptions, competence and familiarisation for the offshore medics
* Ensures the implementation of and adherence to the company's Management System, professional tools, policies, systems and processes.
* Ensures compliance with GDPR and medical confidentiality requirements.
* Support and co-ordinate with the global medical team health initiatives, as appropriate.
* Responsible for the medical standards of the global fleet.
* Liaise with both internal and external insurance providers.
* Act as the technical authority for the offshore medic recruitment and selection.
* Responsible for health monitoring and audit protocols for the fleet.
* Responsible for the offshore hospital policies including procedures and offshore medical stores.
* Develops a constructive and professional relationship with global stakeholders to promote consistency of processes and procedures
Experience & Qualifications:
Essential
* Occupational Health background or HSE background with a focus on heath
* Experience in an office environment
* Computer skills with interest in digitalisation.
Preferred
* Demonstrable knowledge of related offshore medical guidelines.
