Job description
Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for a Senior Associate Supply Chain (GMP) for our Multinational Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology client based in Breda. Initial 12-month contract, with a high possibility of extension. This is a hybrid position.
Accountabilities
- Support the overall vision and strategy of the Global Customer Experience and Order-to-Cash organization (GCX-OTC).
- Support optimization of OTC processes including simplification, standardization and automation.
- Support execution management of OTC process improvement opportunities.
- Support OTC process transformation.
Main Responsibilities of the role
- Support and co-lead the execution of process mapping exercises to optimize OTC processes and improve effectiveness, scalability and consistency.
- Support assessment and execution of standardization opportunities in close collaboration with regional CX and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Support and co-lead the creation of global process documentation following company documentation hierarchy guidelines and requirements, while considering different regional GxP, quality and regulatory requirements.
- Support strategic projects working with cross-functional and cross-regional stakeholders.
- Support creation and maintenance of training material.
- Overall support of GCX-OTC Capability Team workstreams and functions (e.g. administrative activities, training assignments, meeting and workshop facilitation).
Required Qualifications and skills
- Master's or bachelor's degree and 2+ years of directly related experience preferably in the pharmaceutical or related industry.
- Oversee processes beyond own department.
- Attention to detail and experimental / troubleshooting aptitude.
- Experienced with process mining (Celonis) and visualization tools (Tableau).
- Basic GMP knowledge.
- Yellow belt certification.
- APICS-certification.
- Experience with EDI, RPA, AI (experience as a user).
- Experience in working in an international environment.
- Cross-functional process understanding, insight and visualization.
- Ability to process and summarize large amounts of data into concise and meaningful reports.
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office applications (including Visio).
- Experience with SAP (preferably S/4HANA).
- Experience with collaboration and work management tools such as Teams, Miro, Smartsheet.
- OTC processes knowledge.
- Technical writing skills.
- Experience in working in a highly regulated and compliance driven environment.
- Technically savvy.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to perform detail-oriented work.
- Clear communication.
- High attention to detail.
- Support multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Self-starter with hands-on attitude, action oriented.
- Fluent in English and Spanish both in verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership and be accountable, deliver high quality work output.
- Ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity.
- Ability to build relationships across the network and effectively work with cross-functional and cross-regional stakeholders
- Knowledge of customer care and OTC business processes and how integrated ERP systems support those processes.
- Ability to synthesize complex information and adjust communication to the audience.
