Job description
Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for a Senior Associate Supply Chain (GMP) (Import/Export) for our Multinational Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology client based in Breda. Initial 12-month contract, with high possibility of extension. This is a hybrid position.

Accountabilities
- Ensure efficient and effective distribution requirements planning (DRP) and shipments execution across sites of our client and third-party suppliers.
- Contribute to the completion of milestones associated with DRP specific projects or activities within the team or department related to order management.
- Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives and deliver on productivity targets.
- Ensure optimal internal and external customer satisfaction in line with policies and procedures of our client.
- Ensure compliance with SOX & GMP regulations.
- Ensure distribution of pharmaceutical products globally; all orders are processed according to procedures and customer requirements of our client.
- Schedule Finished Drug Product (FDP) inventory against set levels while optimizing distribution efficiency.
- Initiate and executes improvements in order to increase effectiveness and efficiency of DRP and order management performance.
- Coordinate timely shipment & delivery of pharmaceutical products with external groups (Warehouse, Planning, Global Distribution, and third-parties).
- Act as business process owner for stock reconciliation.
- Communicate stock related topics with Logistic Service Providers (LSPs).
- Participate in internal and external audits as needed.
- Contribute as project team member for overall DRP/order management related projects.
- Ensure knowledge of GMP/GDP and job-related training is up to date.
- Ownership and generation of order management, controlled documents as needed.

- Apply DRP/order management SME knowledge in relevant projects, and implementation of new process or process changes.

- Ensure that the internal and external customers are taken care of according to the policies and procedures of the client.
- Ensure that all the orders are processed according to the customers’ specific instructions and conditions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management of Logistics.
- Typically, 3 or more years of Supply Chain experience in a GMP and/or GDP regulated industry.
- Knowledge and experience in a Customer Service and/or order to cash, and/or DRP department.
- Ability to multitask and work within diverse, international group of people.
- Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication.
- Excellence in working with MS Office and experience with ERP system.
- Experience in working across various cultures.
