Job description
Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Senior Master Data & Procurement Analyst, based in Aberdeen.
Responsibilities:
* Demonstrate personal commitment to the SHE Policy and actively participate in Company safety awareness and initiative schemes. Maintain awareness of and ensures compliance with all relevant Statutory and Company SHE standards.
* Responsible for Vendor and Material Master creation and change requests, completing analyses to ensures integrity of information entered in SAP. Ensuring that all authorisations are completed and recorded in line with Company rules.
* Responsible for the analysis of Material Procurement process, reporting areas of concern or delays in the process to the relevant business area.
* Suggest, monitor, and analyse all agreed Cost performance indicators, Key performance indicators, 3C savings activities for Master Data and Material procurement. Communicate to all required stakeholders, ensuring actions are completed and performance results are understood.
* Identify, propose, implement, and follow up action plans to promote continuous improvement of the Master Data and Material procurement processes while rectifying and complying with any company audit points
* Ensures procedures in Company Management System for Master Data and Material Procurement are valid and accurate. Propose updates when required, communicating changes to achieve a clearly understood and document process.
* Build strong working relationship with all stakeholders to represent and control the C&P Master data and procurement processes
* Act as Key user for SAP master data and material procurement. Responsible for coaching end users of SAP, while reviewing and updating of all associated work instructions ensuring good understanding of SAP processes.
* Focal point for Master Data and Material procurement process between Affiliate, TGP and Global Service teams to ensure all stakeholders understand priority requirements and achieve consistency of approach
* Prepare allocated SOX Controls for Materials Management and Procurement process and submit for review and approval
* Participate in the stock optimization activities of the affiliate, identifying improvements to stock management processes.
* Responsible for the delivery adhoc company projects where there is impact on the C&P process
* Provide coaching and mentoring to C&P Team members in Master Data and Material Procurement activities, in order to develop team members skills in these processes.
Experience & Qualifications:
* Degree, Diploma or equivalent qualification and minimum of relevant experience OR experienced professional in an oil industry materials environment, in the C&P discipline
* Strong, demonstrable experience in C&P functions and procure to pay processes and tools, with particular focus on Master Data and Material Procurement.
* Detailed knowledge of Stock Management principles and rules. Understanding of material specification, certification and customs regulations would be beneficial.
* Detailed knowledge of SAP MM functionality and application in supply chain processes. Knowledge of Business Warehouse and Webi functionality would be an advantage.
* Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power point and Power BI applications
* Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as lean and demonstrate delivery of improvement initiatives. Results driven with excellent problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication skills with ability to challenge & negotiate constructively to influence decisions or ways of working. Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with other departments.
