Job description
Great opportunity to work as a Senior Mechanical Engineer (client side) based in Milan, on a major development project.
All candidates must have the right to work in the EU unsponsored, no uplifts or living expenses will be provided. All candidates must be willing to work out with "employed status" and should be self employed / freelance.
The role:
- Ability to review Design and develop mechanical systems and components based on project specifications and requirements.
- detailed drawings and specifications.
- Conduct stress analysis, thermal analysis, and fluid dynamics simulations to validate designs and ensure performance under operating conditions.
- Utilize software tools such as ANSYS or COMSOL or equal for simulation and analysis .
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., ASME, ASTM).
- Perform inspections and testing of mechanical systems to verify performance and quality.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers. Identify and resolve technical issues, proposing innovative solutions
- Ensure adherence to local, national, and international regulations.
Requirements:
- BSc or higher at oil & gas sector (not less than 10 years' experience).
Petroleum Tech. Institute with experience in oil & Gas Engineering projects (Non-graduate engineer/ 20 years' experience in oil & gas production).
Proficiency Level in English Lang.
Computer skills : Engineering Design Software (e.g., AutoCAD),SAP2000 ,ANSYS or similar, Microsoft office, Utilize process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) to model and evaluate process performance.
Organization skills: Time Management, Task management, Planning, Attention to Detail, Problem-Solving, Communication, Problem-Solving.
PMP or similar, Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE), ASME Certifications, Safety Certifications, Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
