Do you love the great outdoors and physical work? Then this exciting traineeship might be for you.
Our client a small scale Environemtal Consultancy is seeking a trainee geotechnical driller to join their expanding team in the South East of England.
No prior experience is required, just a good attitude to work and a passion for physical work, the outdoors in all weathers.
Fll training will be provided as well as certification, specifically an NVQ in Land Drilling.

The Role
Monday - Friday
Minimum 45 hours a week with the opportunity for overtime

This is a varied role where you will be responsible for drilling and technical works across London and the Southeast region. You will be obtaining/collecting samples, logging soils, maintaining vehicles, plant, and equipment and much more!
Full training will be provided, including the opportunity to obtain industry recognised qualifications.
The role is physically demanding and involves mostly site-based work (all year round). This will include the setting up of site equipment: including our drill rig, on-site logging of soil samples to BS5930/Eurocode 7, ground-gas and groundwater monitoring, sample collections and any site related visits/works.
You will also be required to travel regularly to our head office is based in Alton, Hampshire to collect, return and maintain samples and equipment.
For insurances purposes, you will need to be 21 years old + and hold a UK driving licence. The role will involve driving equipment to site, including towing a trailer.
