Job description

The Role

You'll be the primary responsible for:

  • Supporting planning and delivery associated with the full life cycle delivery of a rail contract or railway work packages.
  • Ensuring a full and consistent compliance to all appropriate Network Rail Standards is delivered.
  • Maintaining effective communications with all stakeholders, suppliers, Network Rail and team.
  • Responding to tender queries, meetings with suppliers, and if required providing input to tender technical reviews.
  • Managing and resolving issues within the contact or package in timely manner.
  • Ensuring the List of Deliverables relating to the scope of work is delivered.
  • Additionally, you'll demonstrate industry knowledge, and experience of working in the rail infrastructure industry.
  • Ideally, you'll come from the rail infrastructure sector.

The Skills

  • Experience in design and, or the delivery of rail infrastructure projects.
  • Good knowledge of CDM Regulations.
  • Knowledge or experience of applying APM body of knowledge and OGC's Prince 2.
  • IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs - Word/Excel/Outlook.
  • The ability to re-prioritise tasks in fast paced changing environment.
  • Any experience within the nuclear sector would be a bonus
