CAD Technician

THIS ROLE IS INSIDE IR35

Job Role / Responsibilities: There is an immediate requirement for a CAD technician to support the Project Team with delivery of an underground gas storage project.

Working within the on-site Project Team reporting to the Project Director, the Job Role & Responsibilities will be to:

• Work alongside our Process and Project Engineers to produce and update a variety of 2D AutoCAD drawings to support a planning application
• Ensure the drawings are correctly grid referenced and conform to client standards.
• Manage the drawing register and associated drawing x-refs.

Requirements:

• Prior experience working as a CAD Technician, Senior CAD Technician, or a similar CAD engineering design role.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D), with excellent knowledge of managing x-refs and co-ordinate grids.
• Previous experience of working to develop design deliverables within a multi-discipline team.
• Previous experience of developing drawing plans for town & country planning and/or DCO's applications would be advantageous.
• Eligible to live and work in the UK.
