The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Contracts & Procurement Lead to join their growing Supply Chain team. This critical role involves managing the pre- and post-contract award processes across direct and indirect spend, ensuring risk is minimised, and budgets are met.

The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Contracts & Procurement Lead to join their growing Supply Chain team. This critical role involves managing the pre- and post-contract award processes across direct and indirect spend, ensuring risk is minimised, and budgets are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement contracts and procurement strategies for direct and indirect requirements in EPC sectors (civil, mechanical, and electrical).
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best commercial outcomes while adhering to the company’s contracting principles.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Project Managers, Legal, Finance) to support the transition from EPC to a client-focused model.
- Provide expert contracts and procurement advice to project teams and stakeholders.
- Coach and mentor junior members of the Supply Chain team in best practices.
- Build and maintain supplier relationships by attending training, conferences, and networking events.
- Generate reports and benchmarking insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Report risks and promote safe working conditions and methods.
- Proven experience in a multi-project, multi-disciplinary, and multi-cultural environment.
- Strong technical and commercial skills with contract and procurement management expertise.
- Energy, construction, solar PV, or BESS experience (desirable).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- HND/Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
- Supply Chain Management qualification (e.g., CIPS) is essential.
- Membership of a relevant professional body is desirable (e.g., CIPS).
