Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to join our team in Limerick. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in CI/CD pipelines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Apache Airflow. This role will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools and technologies.
  • Configure and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments.
  • Install, manage, and optimize Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
  • Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand their needs and provide effective CI/CD solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest CI/CD trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Apache Airflow.
  • In-depth understanding of unit testing and code-level test methodologies.
  • Familiarity with API development and RESTful services.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
