Head of Instrumentation and ICSS
Location: Qatar
Salary: Residential permanent salary with benefits such as flights, accommodation and schooling
Our client, a prestigious oil and gas Operator based in Qatar, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Instrumentation and ICSS to join our team. As a leader in the industry, this company is committed to delivering innovative solutions and driving operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Instrumentation and ICSS department
* Oversee the design, development, installation, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and quality requirements
* Manage and develop a team of skilled instrumentation and control engineers
* Collaborate with other departments to optimize plant operations and performance
* Identify and implement cost-effective solutions to improve efficiency and reliability
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field
* 10+ years of experience in the field of instrumentation and control systems
* Proven track record of leading and managing technical teams
* Strong knowledge of instrumentation and control technologies, including PLC, DCS, SCADA, and field devices
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
