HR Generalist

M-F/Onsite

6-month initial contract

Orion Group is seeking an HR Generalist to work onsite for our pharmaceutical client in Worcester, MA.

To be successful in this role you must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent and 3-5 years of experience in the human resources function. You must also interface across all levels of leadership is critical, and experience managing complex projects is preferred.

In this role, you will support the operations function at the Bioresearch Center with talent and data initiatives. Under the direction of the business human resources team, you will:

  • Aid managers in opening requisitions in our talent acquisition system.
  • Interface with managers and talent acquisition to ensure progress is being made against the hiring plan -remove obstacles where required.
  • Keep hiring plan up to date and accurate.
  • Reconcile monthly headcount reporting with financial data (ensuring headcount is in the correct organization and cost center)-interface with managers and finance to ensure accuracy. workforce planning, opening reqs
  • Track attrition, internal job bids and other internal employee moves and work with managers to ensure backfill requisitions are open in a timely manner and keep a robust accounting of internal movement.
