Job description
Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Junior Facilities Engineer, based in Aberdeen.
Responsibilities:
* Support Senior Facilities Engineers and Team Lead with their portfolio delivery
* Liaise and interact with other the company's stakeholder to keep our progress delivery up to date
* Support the reporting of regular status to the Business on the delivery of their asset's Facilities portfolio.
* Support management of all Facilities project management deliverables during each scope's life cycle including cost projection, approval for expenditure and budgetary control.
* Collaborate with the other Facilities Team members to ensure successful annual programme of work delivery.
* Work closely with other company's departments such as Maintenance, Integrity, Production, Drilling and Developments to ensure all interfaces are appropriately managed.
* Work closely with the company and E&C vendors onshore and offshore
* Develop, maintain and distribute the company's standards and specifications utilised within facilities engineering to ensure the quality of work carried out by the company's and pertinent contractors is consistent in satisfying Corporate and Legislative requirements.
* Assist the company's support functions to ensure that Facilities actions are completed in a timely manner e.g. liquidation and close out of Corrective Work Orders (MCDRs).
* Support the company's finance department, being familiar with annual budget process, approval for expenditure procedures, financial and cost commitment projections and achieving business objectives.
* Anticipate future Facilities requirements and costs on the company's assets to support life of field planning.
* Support Senior Facilities engineer with as built/close-out activities have been completed in a timely manner.
* A member of the team responsible for Daily Reporting, planning updates, attending meetings and conference calls between platform and office.
* Champion MAXIMO management for the MCDR portfolio delivery
* Champion MCDR delivery reporting
* Champion a culture of Process Safety excellence at the company.
* Stand in for Facilities Engineer if/when required
Experience & Qualifications:
* Relevant degree (or equivalent qualification).
* Working towards their Chartered Status.
* Master's qualification would be an advantage.
* Formal qualification in project management or working towards one.
