Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer on a contract basis for a major Operator.

Based in Milan during Engineering phase, with added responsibility for London Engineering centre.

May relocate to Site during Construction activities at Engineering completion or provide remote support from home office.

  • The Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer is responsible for leading the Rotating Equipment engineering team. The position is required to manage Rotating Equipment detailed engineering execution centres and technical development of the Project.

  • The Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer will manage an organization of EPC Contractor team).

  • Ensure implementation of proper design for Rotating equipment.

  • Lead the Rotating Equipment Engineering team in the overall Engineering organization.

  • Lead the Rotating Equipment team during field activities.

Expertise Required:

  • Degree in appropriate Engineering discipline.

  • Registration as a Charted Engineer, PE or equivalent preferred

  • Proficient in English language.

  • Experience in Oil and Gas and large projects.

  • Expertise on design and operation of rotating machinery including centrifugal compressors, gas turbines, diesel generators and pumps.

  • Supervisory experience related to plant and project engineering with increasing size and responsibility.
