Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for a Manufacturing Process Technician for 3 shifts on behalf of our Multinational Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology client located in Breda. Initial 12-month contract. This is an onsite role.

What will you do?
The ABR production hall contains 9 (semi) automated production lines. Within a team of highly qualified operators (3-9/ line) the primary responsibility of the team lies in operating the equipment per regulated processes and deliver according to the agreed planned performance to deliver high quality products in highly regulated and safe environment. Process & equipment knowledge, change-over, accuracy, process improvements, interaction & anticipation on process parameters (e.g., reporting, analysing, following procedures, problem solving, monitoring, escalation, fine-tuning) are key activity tasks for this role in close collaboration with the production supervisors, line leads and key stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities of the role
- Running a production line according to operating procedures.
- Take care of administrative tasks in SAP/MES.
- Collecting and documenting process data.
- Analyse process data on own level.
- Having constantly inside process continuity and development.
- Working together/communicate with other operators and line lead in order to deliver defined goals.
- Looking for improvement and efficiency (LEAN working) in and around working process.
- Taking care of escalation when A-typical events occur.
- Taking ownership for all tasks and results.
- Doing complete shift handover regarding essential information.
- Taking care that all training has been followed according to deadlines.
- Taking care of related logistic processes.
- Being participant in improvement and trouble shoot processes.
Required Qualifications
- MBO (technical or process) and/or VAPRO A, VAPRO B.
- Basic LEAN and/or Six sigma training/course.
- Working with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Power point).
- Working with SAP/MES.
- Mature (verbally and written) skills in English and Dutch language.
Required Skills
- 3-5 years experienced in manufacturing environment as process/technical operator (pre; GMP/GDP or ISO certified environment).
- 1-3 years working experience with LEAN manufacturing, Six sigma, Continuous Improvement, and Troubleshooting (5WHY, RCA, Kaizen, Poka Yoke, TPM, ATS, SMED, Fishbone method).
- Working with process/data processing ERP systems (SAP/MES).
- Working with Standard Operating Processes.
- Team player.
