Marine Vessel Lead
Work hours per day: 12 hrs./day
Work Days per Week: 7 days/week
Work day per Month: 28 days/month
Work Location : Qatar Onshore & Offshore
Knowledge and/or Experience
Qualification: Master Mariner, Chief Engineer
10+ years of marine experience - primarily Offshore with onshore Operational/ Management experience.
Broad and extensive knowledge of marine operations.
Knowledge of Dynamic Positioning Systems & Operations, DP FMEA Analysis, DP FMEA Proving Trials, Annual DP Trials, ASOG/CAM.
Experienced in managing Marine Assurance & Compliance processes, following corporate requirements and international standards.
Knowledgeable in International Maritime Regulations, Codes and Standards.
Experience within the Middle East region is advantageous.
Previous Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) and Marine Consultancy experience is advantageous (Preferably OVID accreditation).
Key Accountabilities
Marine Vessel Lead is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operations of marine units during project activities execution. This role involves overseeing the compliance of marine activities with international regulations, company standards, and industry best practices.
Act as Offshore Company Vessel Marine Representative on day to day responsibility for managing the offshore works various marine units
Inspect and audit all marine vessels, including vessel suitability for work scope(s), involved in the different works and liaise with Contractor's Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS). Assess the performance of marine units and provide recommendations for improvements.
Provide training and guidance to vessel crews on safety procedures and regulatory and company requirements
Verify operational status of marine unit equipment, vessels and personnel on a day-to-day basis involved in the field works performed.
Leads all Installation requirements of the Project, to ensure the technical objectives are met within the approved scope, budget and schedule.
Pipelay cable, lay, Load-outs, Subsea Structure Installation, Topsides Lifts, Shore Pull, Diving Operations, Riser Installation, Marine Operations, Vessel Inspections
