Hourly Pay Rate: $50-53/hr (medical benefits available at a cost)

Orion Group is seeking a skilled Mechanical engineer to join our global medical device client's R&D team in Marlborough, MA. The Mechanical Engineer will support R&D for product development of bioprocessing equipment.

Qualifications:
* 2-4 years' experience with either a BS or MS Engineering degree
* This role requires a technical aptitude and understanding of P&ID's, vessels, piping systems, instrumentation, controls, and heating/cooling.
* Ability to assemble, operate, and troubleshoot mechanical systems safely in a manufacturing environment.
* Experienced with ERP systems to create BOM's and execute ECO's.
* Create purchase specifications for equipment with an understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the bioprocessing equipment industry.
* Create and execute test protocols and reports
* Direct experience with heating and cooling equipment desired.
* Hands-on experience desired.
