Job description
Operator assistant - Frac Acid - CDL required.
Based in Colorado - $20/hour - 6-month contract.
The Role:
* Under strict supervision, assists senior operators and/or performs frac- specific job roles (e.g., proppant, chemicals, blenders, QA/QC, etc... ).
* Learns basic operations to include but not limited to performing pre/post job equipment inspections, performing, and completing preventative maintenance procedures and operating support equipment (e.g., proppant handling, fluid tanks, suction manifolding, discharge manifold equipment, etc.).
* Completes requisite training and demonstrates competency as defined for current and next level. Assists in assembly and preparation of equipment for installation and service.
* Assists in the cleanup, repair, and preparation for the next job. Exhibits safety awareness and environmental consciousness and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
* Participates in quality and continuous improvement processes.
* Reading comprehension and writing skills are required.
* Basic computer skills and the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations are preferred.
* Skills are acquired through on-the-job training and 3-6 months' experience as an Operator Asst I.
* Requires completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.
