Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Pre-Commissioning Specialist - Pipelines on a contract basis. The position will be based in Doha. For further information about this position please apply.

MUST HAVE

Engineering degree/diploma or equivalent, however any qualification, technical or knowledge requirements may be waived through relevant work experience.
Min 8 years of total experiences with at least 6 years demonstrated as pipeline pre-commissioning lead in major capital projects
Experiences with pipeline pre-commissioning activites including FCG, Hydrotest, intelligent pigging (ILI), dewatering, drying, pre-batch pigging and N2 packing for onshore and offshore pipeline including interface work with other contractors and SIMOPS.
Experiences for handling Intelligent Pigging (ILI) including technology adapted for intelligent pigging operations services such as MFL, UT, EC, EMAT, etc and including experiences for handling geometric/ caliper tools.
Worldwide pipeline pre-commissioning experience with sub-contractors or under company and familiar with preparation doc and tools for pre-commissioning campaign.

RESPONSOIBILITIES

Responsible for managing the Pre-commissioning activities of Offshore Pipeline to ensure objectives are safely met within the approved scope and schedule.
Focal point for pipeline pre-commissioning activities at Onshore and Offshore for promoting and implementing safety on Commissioning activities at site, Implement the safety observations reporting and monitoring
Lead execution of pipeline pre-commissioning activities at onshore and offshore and keep the team committed to targets defined by the project completion schedule.
Review and propose mitigation for Pipeline Pre-commissioning aspects of the Risk Management Plan and Monitor the mitigation when defined .
Review all onshore and offshore Pipeline Pre-commissioning changes, including justification for cost and schedule impacts, in accordance with the PMOC procedure.
