Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Process Specialist COMP3 on a contract basis. The position will be based in Doha. For further information about this position please apply.

COMP3 project is part of a large-scale offshore Compression Development Program . This major project consists of new offshore facilities that comprise of five new riser platforms, one wellhead platform, 110km of CRA pipelines, stalk on risers, subsea composite cables and Fiber Optic lines, in addition to that an extensive brownfield modification on the existing Wellhead and Riser Platforms.

Requirement
Holds a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or equivalent.
15+ years' experience of Process Engineering in a major project environment with a broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction, and operations.
Good knowledge in offshore platforms and topside process systems design.
Possess knowledge in Flow Assurance and hydrate management aspects.

Responsibilities
Review & validate all Process Engineering documents (drawings/datasheets/philosophies/specifications,etc…)
Accountable for the review and validation of all the Flow Assurance design such as Steady State Hydraulic Analysis, Transient Study, Dynamic Simulation, and Hydrate Management for all Intra-field Pipelines and Trunklines using OLGA software
Assist economic/financial evaluation of all feasibility studies and opportunities to optimise project deliverables.
Well conversant with process software such as HYSYS (Steady State and Dynamic Simulations), OLGA, FLARNET, PIPSIM etc.
Exhibits team leadership skills, integrity, interpersonal understanding, and self-confidence.
