Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Product Line Manager, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:
* Lead total sales and project reporting activities. Develop, implement, manage and monitor relevant sales metrics for the sales & business development process.
* Manage entire product life cycle, collaborating across business to deliver business goals.
* Manage product pricing, product profitability and accountable to deliver price realisation. Partner with operations and engineering to set product family cost out actions
* Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, engineering, and sales teams to ensure internal and external customer expectations are met.
* Lay out project plans, owners, and milestones. Set internal and external expectations on lead times and delivery schedules. Monitor progress cross-functionally to identify project risks and propose alternative solutions.
* Provide guidance to the Technical Sales Director to ensure timely actions on quotes, approvals for pricing, and terms and conditions within delegation of authority guidelines. Review bid strategy and deadlines for quotes.
* Manage the quote to order remittance processes.
* Feed into, execute on and communicate our long-term strategic roadmap, translating business strategy into product strategy.
* Developing policies for pricing and sales strategies by interpreting and adapting to global market conditions and understanding product/market trends and dynamics.
* Ensure sales targets are met - exceeding activity, pipeline, and revenue goals on a regular basis.
* Become an expert on products and conduct introductory calls and presentations with prospects and customers.
* Proactively develop and manage relationships with prospects and current accounts globally.
* Be willing to travel nationally and internationally to engage new and existing clients in person

Experience & Qualifications:
* Successful product management/champion experience; preferably in well intervention
* Relevant experience of managing large projects
* Solid technical aptitude, ability for data analysis and knowledge of product application, product-market characteristics, factors affecting costs and identification of problem areas.
* Worked with design and engineering teams to develop and enhance product family
* Effectiveness in working in a team setting
* Understanding and knowledge of common Slickline, Wireline and/or Coiled Tubing well intervention operations and tooling.
* Comprehensive knowledge of surface wellhead equipment and associated standards.
* Understanding and knowledge of surface pressure control equipment (PCE).
* Existing network of clients in oil and gas operators and service companies.
* Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Good decision making and negotiation skills.
