Job description
Great opportunity to work for a leading Energy Company that designs and develops long-duration energy storage solutions for utility and distributed power systems, working on the construction of a milestone project in the North West - a new Renewable Energy Storage Power Station.
The Role:
The Project Controls Manager develops the Project Controls strategy, plans and procedures, and is respsonsible for independently applying advanced project controls techniques and analyses.
This is an integral role that will help our client deliver a milestone energy storage project in the North West, whist also developing a strategy for the overall programme of projects to follow.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 10 years' experience working within a Project Controls environment
- Proven track record delivering on projects from inception to financial close & completion / operational stage
- Ability to create & deliver high quality proposals and speak with credibility to project team, Senior Management and contractors on technical subjects
- Experience working within the Energy Storage industry would be advantageous, or other Heavy lifting industries - O&G, Nuclear, Solar, Petrochemical etc.
- Excellent IT skills, in MS Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
This is a permanet staff role, whilst the rpoject is based in the NW of England, ther is some flexibility for this role to be worked remotely, very competetive salary & benefits package available.
