Job description

The Release Manager is accountable for overall successful delivery of a given release including driving and facilitation of release processes, overall release timeline, and managing risks and dependencies across the release. The Release Manager may also provide support by acting as a Sub Process Owner, in support of the Opportunity to Cash process domain, during the initiate and solution confirmation phases.

POSITION DUTIES:
* During initiate and confirm phases, align with Solution Architects and perform ongoing monitoring for external dependencies, across process domains.
* Develop a preliminary view of the project plan and scope for each release in addition to a risk analysis to planned timeline.
* Function as a Sub-Process Owner, in support of process initiatives and process alignment activities in the Opportunity to Cash process domain.
* Participate in the scheduling and design of solution confirmation and template design workshops.
* Drive the release process and cadence while collecting and reporting on release metrics, in alignment with Value Realization Lead. Based on lessons learned, continuously monitors and improves subsequent release plans.
* Provide guidance and coaching to delivery teams, seeking to mitigate risks and escalate issues, as appropriate.
* Serves as communication liaison between deployment teams while overseeing the cutover and deployment to production. Imperative to understand and monitor expectations of VP, ERP Transformation and project stakeholders.
* Owns and drives the release planning process and ensures site preparedness for release.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in management science, operations, business analytics, or statistics required; Master's degree in business analytics or operations management preferred.
* 5 to 10+ years combined experience in Business Planning/Analysis, Quality, Manufacturing / Product Design Environment, Supply Chain, Project Management, Operations or Business Process Realignments with proven skills as a project manager on multiple full life cycle implementations.
* Excellent understanding of business systems/processes and/or ERP systems with the ability to understand and demonstrate knowledge of data mining, statistical, and/or data mining methods and tools with. Proven process improvement, and data analytics skills.
* Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment and meet overall program plan and timelines.
* Excellent leadership and managerial skills to lead / manage/ mentor matrix teams in multiple geographies with the ability to engage and manage senior-level relationships.
* Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).
