Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Reliability Engineer, based in Aberdeen.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK with experience working within a North Sea Oil and Gas operational environment.

6-month contract that can be offered on a PAYE or LTD basis


Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the monitoring and improvement of the reliability of the Asset and equipment.
* Develop plans to reduce or eliminate Safety Hazards and Production Loss caused by reliability issues, in liaison with members of the Asset Team onshore and offshore,
* Ensure scope of work is delivered on time, in accordance with approved technical, operational, and HSEQ standards.
* Ensure effective communication and reporting to asset management with regard to operational objectives.

Experience & Qualifications:
* Extensive experience in a relevant engineering discipline and direct involvement in reliability, preferably having previously worked within the North Sea Oil & Gas operational environment.
* Qualified to BEng or HND/HNC level in Relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
* Good knowledge of Maintenance Management System and a working knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance methodology.
* Valid survival certificate and offshore medical (plus any other industry standard pre-requisites to travel offshore).
