Job description

Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for a Senior Associate Supply Chain (GMP) EMEA Global Distribution Operations for our Multinational Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology client based in Breda. Initial 12-month contract, with high possibility of extension. This is a hybrid position, where you are expected to work at least 2 days per week from the office.

Main Responsibilities

  • Act as business process owner for track and trace activities on our client's Finished drug product (FDP):
    • Perform daily oversight over track and trace activities.
    • Liaise with the regional business process owner as counterpart.
    • Own related distribution Quality Management documents.
    • Train staff and develop training material.
    • Present performance of related Key Performance Indicators to senior leadership audience.
    • Serve as Supply Chain Subject Matter Expert for audits when requested.
  • Perform daily analysis of Alerts received from the National Medicines Verification Organization (NMVO).
  • Own monthly and quarterly EU FMD Alert trend reporting process.
  • Own, investigate and close distribution complaints at the required first-time right level.
  • Continuously drive improvements and standardization EMEA global distribution operations business processes.
  • Support with Customer master data (CMD) updates in ERP system.
  • Communicate with related topics with Local Service Providers (LSPs).
  • Other:
    • Represent Global Distribution in cross functional project teams.
    • Identify and initiate process and system improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain or related.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a similar position in a highly regulated industry.
  • Good understanding of Good distribution practices.
  • Experience in working in an international environment, ability to liaise/communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and different cultures.
  • Experience working with external parties and improving processes.
  • Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication.
  • Result focused and proven ability to deliver results.
