Job description

Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for a Senior Associate Supply Chain (GMP) (Regional Operations Senior Associate) for our Multinational Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology client based in Breda. Initial 12-month contract, with a high possibility of extension. This is a hybrid position.

What you will do

As Regional Operations Leaders we are accountable for launching, managing variations and life cycle strategies of products in the EMEA markets.

We develop a 3 - 5-year product portfolio outlook with a strong emphasis on good and safe product delivery ensuring every patient every time.

We are the linking pin between EMEA Commercial partners, Regulatory, the relevant Global Supply Chain and Operations stakeholders. In the EMEA product launch process we represent operations by balancing customer values and cost of creation.

Main Responsibilities of the role

  • Support the product Regional Operations Lead with managing every phase of the life cycle of a product and when you are ready, perform all life cycle management activities for a product independently.
  • Execute product lifecycle changes per the Regional Variation Master Plan.
  • Keep Regional Variation Master Plan up to date by maintaining contact with key stakeholders (e.g. regional and local Regulatory Affairs).
  • Perform Labelling assessments in the labelling system, complete checklists.
  • Support product launches.
  • Manage the Specialized Shipping process for your products.
  • Perform Right-First-Time handover to production site(s) by ensuring all regional requirements are correctly documented in the relevant systems.
  • Lead small improvement projects and coordinate data collection for customer requests in the team.
  • Facilitate cross-functional activities between Supply Chain, Operations, Regulatory Affairs and Marketing.
  • Facilitate Master Data requests and activities.
  • Support Business Case preparation, impact assessments for launches and lifecycle management.
  • Execute Registration samples or Product Demo requests.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline departmental activities.
  • Drive process improvements or suggest standardized methods/templates within own sphere of influence.

Required Qualifications and skills

  • Master's or bachelor's degree and 2 or more years directly related experience.
  • Fluent in English, both in verbal and written communication.
  • Pharmaceutical or Supply Chain (APICS, CPIM or CIRM certification) experience.
  • Experience in working in an international environment.
  • Experience in multi-disciplinary projects & change management.
  • Analytical / Data minded.
  • Customer focused, strong facilitator, action oriented and tech savvy.
  • Strong communicator: Communicates effectively to diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Customer focus: building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solution.
