Job description
Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for a Senior Associate Training & Development for our Multinational Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology client based in Breda. Initial 3-month contract. This is a role for 24 hours a week. This is a hybrid role, 2 days onsite.
Role Summary
- As a member of the Learning & Performance team, you will be responsible for the development of multiple learning activities.
- In collaboration with a Learning & Performance Manager and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) you will develop process and technical learning activities for our operators in Production.
- Are you an experienced instructional designer in an operations and/or technical working environment? Do you thrive for the most effective learning solutions and enjoy a deep dive into the needs of the learners and organization, analyze and structure content?
- The Instructional Designer will perform parts of the designing process and will be responsible for creating effective, engaging, and learner-centred learning experiences.
Main Responsibilities of the role
- Develop Storyboards: Creating visual and textual guides that outline the structure and flow of content, particularly for multimedia resources like video lessons, animations, simulations, and interactive modules.
- Develop Content: Creating content to meet the learning objectives. This includes writing, structuring materials, developing multimedia elements like videos, developing quizzes and interactive exercises.
- Source content will be available, and it will be created in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- (Optional) Develop E-Learning: Using authoring tools (Rise / Articulate) to create online courses, and other interactive elements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/HBO degree or equivalent in Learning & Development, Educational science or Human Resource(s) (Development).
- Typically, 3+ years of related professional experience (including 2 years of experience in development of training in an operations and/or technical working environment) OR Master's degree in Learning & Development, Educational Science or Human Resource(s) (Development).
- Minimum of 1 years of related professional experience.
- Experience in a highly regulated Industry and/or Biotechnology or Pharma Industry.
- Knowledge of GxP regulations for the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in editing animations, using software like Vyond.
- Experience in editing videos, using software like Clipchamp.
- Analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Business acumen: knowing the Biotechnology Industry and/or operations work environment.
- Comprehensive experience with: Articulate/Rise, shooting and editing video.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal); ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
- Project Management skills.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Fluently speaking, reading and writing in English.
