Job description
Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Senior Contracts Advisor, based in Aberdeen.
Responsibilities:
* Draft, review, and negotiate Master Service Agreements (MSA's) and contracts related to subsea decommissioning projects.
* Provide expert advice and support on contractual matters to internal stakeholders, including project managers, legal teams, and senior executives.
* Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
* Manage the tender process, including evaluating bids, conducting negotiations, and selecting suitable contractors.
* Support ongoing projects by monitoring contract performance, resolving disputes, and managing change orders.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify risks, mitigate contractual issues, and drive project success.
* Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and legal developments to proactively address potential challenges.
Experience & Qualifications:
* Degree in Business, Law, or a related field preferred.
* Previous experience as a Contracts Advisor, preferably in the subsea decommissioning sector.
* Strong expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex MSA's and contracts.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
* Professional certifications or memberships related to contract management or legal fields are desirable.
