Job description

As a Senior Project Manager, you will have the following accountabilities:

  • Monitoring and implementing the key contractual elements of the project against budget and programme, being Client facing with regards to programme/progress/design issues and responsible for the integration and dissemination of design changes and reporting on programme implications.
  • Electrical Experience to lead the team
  • Creating clear and attainable project objectives, building the project requirements, and managing the triple constraint for construction projects, which are, cost, time, and scope. Also by ensuring the project is executed in a Safe Manner that complies with CDM, H&S Legislation and our clients requirements.
  • H&S Chairperson Chairing the regular H&S forum, Black Hat Supervisors forum and Monthly Workers Coordination meeting, including the dissemination of the actions arising.
  • Tracks leads via partner relationships and referrals in business development capacity.
  • Coordinates with Legal/Risk regarding policies relating to teaming, contracts and pursuits.
  • Helps establish and manage client and team member expectations.
  • Supports best value bid process with bid day activities and oversight.
  • Participates in the decision process for blending partners into winning teams.
  • Informs Director and sector lead of issues and status.

Who we're looking for

You will have the following:

  • BSc/BEng. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred and extensive experience in the nuclear sector.
  • Electrical Bias
  • Experience of nuclear and/or conventional project management
  • Able to supervise and develop direct reports while prioritizing and delegating significant responsibilities to others.
  • Able to manage essential functions effectively by consistently driving for quality, profitable, safe, and timely results on the assigned project.
  • Experienced and familiar with team based delivery, contracting and the design-build process.
