Job Title: Slickline Supervisor
Job Summary: We are seeking a competent and experienced Slickline Supervisor to oversee the operations and personnel involved in slickline services within our organization. The Slickline Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and executing slickline interventions, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and optimizing operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in slickline operations, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise slickline crews in executing various well intervention activities, including but not limited to, logging, perforating, and setting or retrieving downhole equipment.
- Plan and schedule slickline operations, considering factors such as well conditions, equipment availability, and client requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards throughout all slickline operations.
- Conduct pre-job meetings to review objectives, procedures, and potential hazards with crew members.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting expertise to resolve operational challenges and optimize job performance.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
- Monitor equipment performance and maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of job activities, equipment usage, and personnel hours for reporting and billing purposes.
- Participate in training programs and mentorship initiatives to develop the skills and knowledge of slickline crew members.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability, leading by example to foster a zero-incident work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in slickline operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficient knowledge of slickline tools, equipment, and techniques used in well intervention activities.
- Strong leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and guide a diverse team of technicians.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, with a thorough understanding of industry regulations and best practices.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities to address operational challenges and optimize performance.
- Ability to work in dynamic and sometimes adverse environments, including offshore platforms and remote locations.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as required to support operational demands.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record; willingness to travel as needed.
