Job description

Orion Technology are looking to a Software Developer to join OCCMS - Orion Group's completions and commissioning specialist services division.

The team provides range of expertise and experience in sectors such as energy, clean energy, built environment, life sciences, mining and defence.

In this role you will:

  • work with the development team, to develop and create code and features for the Orbit CMS management system, in both web and windows application variants using VB.Net/C# as appropriate.
  • work with the development team to develop and maintain Orbit API web service.
  • design and maintain database schema and stored procedures for Orbit databases in line with best practice for optimal performance
  • provide development, support for software and systems developed, supplied or resold by OCCMS

(Orbit is a flexible completions and commissioning project management software. It is used to centralise information and align every part of a project by documenting project status, changes, deficiencies and handover status.)

To be considered for the role you must have knowledge and experience of:

  • Microsoft Visual Studio .Net 4.8
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2016+
  • Microsoft Windows Server.
  • Microsoft Office.
  • MS Visual Basic .Net
  • C#
  • T-SQL
  • Web page authoring with ASP.Net

You will have the opportunity to help develop the next version of Orbit so any experience with React and/or Maui would be beneficial.

This role is ideally office based and we will consider a hybrid option (3 days in the office)
