Subsea Project Engineer - London
Our client is one of the energy industry's most experienced teams in the science of operating and redeveloping mid-life oil and gas assets. They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Subsea Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in Central London. You will play a pivotal role in delivering safe, efficient, and reliable subsea operations, contributing to the success of our key projects.
What you'll do:
* Manage and coordinate subsea projects from initial design to final commissioning.
* Support commercial elements, controlling business risks and ensuring accurate reporting.
* Ensure safe and compliant operations of subsea systems, adhering to international standards.
* Provide technical expertise and support to production, operations, and subsea integrity teams.
* Develop task plans, schedules, and budgets, and oversee project execution.
* Participate in HAZID/HAZOP studies and promote HSEQ awareness within the team.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and regulators.
What you bring:
* Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
* 3+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry, ideally in subsea production, intervention, flowline, integrity management, control systems, ROV operations, or construction.
* Strong knowledge of subsea systems (XTs, SPS, structures, controls, umbilicals, risers, flowlines) in deepwater projects.
* Experience with subsea IRM activities.
* Excellent project management and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
* Fluent English.
