Job description
Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for a Supply Chain Manager for our Multinational Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology client based in Breda. Initial 12-month contract, with high possibility of extension. This is a hybrid position, where you have to work at least one day from the office (Tuesday, the day that the whole team is in).
What will you do
- Develop and own specific areas of the warehouse system business process blueprints and warehouse system solution templates.
- Own warehouse system business process specifications in our client's DMS.
- Own and drive business tasks during planning, requirements gathering, design, build, test, migration, training and deployment of warehouse systems.
- Lead warehouse system changes from initiation to deployment.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure uninterrupted production and supply driven by Warehouse business systems and optimize per READ framework over time.
- Lead business requirement gathering and process mapping as input for the warehouse system business process blueprints and solution templates, with Site SMEs, DTI and other stakeholders.
- Own defined warehouse system validation tasks, documents and assessments.
- Drive and govern warehouse system implementation tasks e.g., test strategy, scripts & sets, role definition, test execution, review and approval, configuration and migration.
- Own, develop and document warehouse system training content and documentation, AVs, LAs, training qualifications (TRNQs).
- Define, document and maintain warehousing system user roles, approve user role assignments and perform periodic audits.
- Drive CCMS Changes as assessor.
- Maintain strong ties with Sites, Manufacturing, GSC, DTI, DTI partners and other stakeholders, collaborating to achieve best results for our client.
- Independently identify opportunities and assess impact of technologies, best practices, trends and events for our client's business processes and systems.
- Showcase continuous improvement mindset to identify and deliver savings and improvements.
- Drive results to the finish line and strive for best-in-class warehousing supporting Manufacturing and Supply.
- Actively contribute to network collaboration, sharing and development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Logistics or logistic knowledge by experience.
- 5+ years' experience in a warehousing/distribution environment, preferably in pharma.
- In-depth SAP/WMS design and implementation experience, preferably WM/EWM.
- Process mindset: cross-functional process understanding, insight and visualization.
- Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal & written) with stakeholders.
- GMP and GDP knowledge.
- Understanding of end-to-end supply chain, oversee processes beyond function.
- Project management skills.
- Experience in related areas, such as Planning.
- Distil, negotiate and communicate business requirements per strategic direction.
- Independent self-starter, able to work autonomously, under pressure and in teams.
- Motivated, persistent, eager to optimize, drive for excellence, continuously improve.
- Problem solver with high sense of responsibility.
- Result focused with a proven ability to drive and deliver.
- Experience influencing change in international matrix environment.
- Fluent in English in verbal and written communication.
- Technical writing skills.
- Deep WMS and warehouse process understanding.
- Ability to gather, negotiate, prioritize, structure and communicate business requirements.
- Problem solving and OE mindset delivering result.
- Deliver results through matrix and ambiguity (influencing SME).
- Collaborative one mentality of our client, driving to network goals.
