Job description

Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for a Supply Chain Manager (Supply Chain Regional Planning Manager) for our Multinational Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology client based in Breda. Initial 12-month contract, with high possibility of extension. This is a hybrid position.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage consensus forecasting process with EMEA sales affiliates:
    • Lead Demand Review meetings with sales affiliates for the EMEA region.
    • Conduct forecast analysis & reviews, identify improvements and work with sales affiliates to improve Unit Forecasting.
    • Support the EMEA Integrated Business Planning and strategy development.
  • Assemble and manage the demand plan:
    • Assemble the weekly/monthly regional demand requirements plan, i.e. the conversion of the forecasted sales netted against the available FDP inventory.
    • Manage the supply requirements from the production sites to local EMEA LSPs and Distributor Markets.
    • Interpret how demand changes impact the supply chain (scenario analysis).
  • Inventory & Sales monitoring:
    • Manage FDP inventory within inventory guardrails ensuring sufficient stock to prevent supply risks while minimizing scrap exposure.
    • Monitor sales development versus forecast and assess potential inventory impact of deviations (supply risk or scrap risk).
    • Coordination with Site/CMO Planning on timely availability of production batches.
  • KPI Measurement and Continuous Improvement:
    • Prepare, report, and communicate forecast and FDP inventory measurements to management (forecast accuracy, FDP inventory plan vs. targets, out of stocks, FDP scrap).
    • Identify areas for improvement; lead operational excellence initiatives / process improvement projects.
  • Product Life Cycle Management:
    • Manage product life cycle changes through the demand requirements plan
      Serve as Regional Planning representative in Product Lifecycle Teams.
  • Collaborate with Global Distribution on the Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) for replenishment of the local stock points in EMEA for our client owned inventory:
    • Manage Finished Drug Product (FDP) inventory within inventory guardrails at local stock points in EMEA ensuring sufficient stock to prevent supply risks while minimizing scrap exposure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor / Master degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Studies.
  • Familiar with supply chain planning concepts.
  • Experience in GMP environment.
  • Experience in S&OP planning processes.
  • Kinaxis Rapid Response and Anaplan experience.
  • 3-5 years' work experience in an industrial environment.
  • 3 years' experience with ERP planning system.
  • Advanced experience in using Excel and/or data modelling tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, both in oral and written communication.
  • Analytical/ Data minded.
  • Problem solving.
  • Priority setting.
  • Presentation / Communication skills.
