Job description
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Seeking contractor support for a minimum 12-month engagement to develop training content and provide training coordination services. The project aims to enhance the Operations training capabilities by creating training materials and executing a pre-commission onboarding and training program.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement a quality assurance process for all training materials.
- Create evaluation tools to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
- Analyze training feedback and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide recommendations for enhancing training content and delivery methods.
Training Content Development
- Develop online training modules, including:
- Interactive e-learning courses
- Video tutorials
- Quizzes and assessments
- Create instructor-led training materials, including:
- Presentation slides
- Facilitator guides
- Participant workbooks
- Hands-on exercises and activities
- Ensure all training content aligns with adult learning principles and best practices.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and validate content.
Training Coordination
- Establish a training calendar and schedule for both online and in-person sessions.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to arrange training logistics (e.g., room bookings, equipment setup).
- Manage participant registrations and communications.
- Track attendance and completion rates.
- Provide regular reports on training activities and outcomes.
Quality Assurance and Evaluation
- Develop and implement a quality assurance process for all training materials.

EDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & COMPETENCIES
Basic Requirements:
- Proven experience in instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Expertise in e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Familiarity with training evaluation methodologies.
Preferred Requirements:
- LNG or similar industry experience preferred.

Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment with occasional work within or outside of a complex construction environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers/fax, filing cabinets, etc. This is primarily a sedentary role; however, the incumbent must be able to stand and/or sit continuously to perform all essential job functions for a full shift.
