* Location: Kitimat, BC
* Work Schedule/Shift: 14/7 Rotation, 10-hour days
* Start Date: ASAP
* End Date: August 31, 2026
* A&D Testing Required

Must have demonstrated experience as a field operator with 5 yrs. or more in plant operations (LNG, Gas Processing, Petrochemical or Refinery experience preferred)
Must have 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate or higher


Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Turnaround Operations Planner to join our team at an LNG Canada. As the Turnaround Operations Planner, you will be responsible for facilitating the Operations Development and Planning of Operations activities in support of the Turnaround Work Process. Your primary focus will be on coordinating and planning the Operations Isolations Strategies in support of Shutdown, Decon and Start Up.

Key Responsibilities:

* Field validates that potential work items are "real" Turnaround/Outage work and cannot be performed on the run.
* Responsible for ensuring the unit systemization is fit for purpose.
* Leads and coordinates activities for Shutdown, Decon, Commissioning and Start Up Planning (including the development of isolation plans for both primary process isolations and for equipment entry).
* Develop Shutdown and Start-Up schedule and work closely with Turnaround Block Coordinator, Master Scheduler and Master Planner to make logic ties and troubleshoot any problems with the schedule.
* Assists in the development of the waste disposal plan, including estimates of type and amount of storage / disposal needs, frac tank requirements, vac truck requirements, etc.
* Responsible for input of operational cost items into the event estimate.
* Works with the Turnaround Block Coordinator to develop and review execution schedule.
* Identify logistical needs for Production including permit writing facilities, execution offices, Production consumables, etc.
* Participates in unit start up safety reviews.

Working with the TA Production Lead:
* Assist in developing the permit planning strategy to ensure optimal approach to permitting work, including determining the number of permit writers.
* Assist in developing the training and staffing plans (including schedule and work ups) for Operations Personnel for the Turnaround Event.
* Support in the initial solicitation of work items from all stakeholders, including the Production Specialist, Technical, OMC, etc. to collect and select the right scope of work for the turnaround.
* Validate that shut down and start up procedures are linked with decontamination and commissioning procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:
* Must have demonstrated experience as a field operator with 5 yrs. or more in plant operations (LNG, Gas Processing, Petrochemical or Refinery experience preferred)
* Must have 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate or higher
* LNG experience is highly desired
* Proven experience as an Operations TA Planner or similar role in the preparation, planning and executing of Turnaround Events with the LNG or oil and gas industry.
* Ability to read and interpret design documents (P&IDs and Isometrics).
* Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
* Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build positive relationships with various stakeholders, including contractors, vendors, and project teams.
* Proficient in using computer software and tools for document management, database management, and project tracking.
* Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
