Job description

Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for an Associate Supply Chain Import/Export for our Multinational Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology client based in Breda. Initial 12-month contract, with a high possibility of extension. This is a hybrid position, where you have to be preferably more onsite during initial training and afterwards in the office 2 to 3 days a week.

Main Responsibilities of the role

  • Perform daily oversight over track and trace activities on the Finished drug product of our client (FDP).

  • Process third-party distribution complaints at the required first-time right level.

  • Perform daily analysis of Alerts received from the National Medicines Verification Organization (NMVO).

  • Perform daily operational tasks associated with EMEA returns.

  • Continuously drive improvements and standardization EMEA global distribution operations business processes.

  • Support with Customer master data (CMD) updates in ERP system.

  • Communicate with related topics with Local Service Providers (LSPs).

  • Identify and initiate process and system improvements.

  • Support Distribution Requirements Planning and Stock Reconciliation processes as backup.

  • Deliver compliant performance of third-party distribution complaint handling.

  • Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives and deliver on productivity targets.

  • Ensures compliance with SOX & GDP regulations.

Required Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in in Supply Chain or related area.

  • Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication.

  • Result focused and proven ability to deliver results.

  • Accurate and paying attention to detail.

  • Motivated, persistent, eager to optimize, drive for excellence.

  • Problem solver with high sense of responsibility.

  • Oversee processes beyond own department.

  • Good understanding of Good distribution practices.

  • Two years of experience in a similar position in a highly regulated industry.

  • Experience in working in an international environment, ability to liaise/communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and different cultures.

  • Experience working with external parties and improving processes.

  • Technical writing skills.

  • Process and system oriented.
