Job description
The Orion Partner Plus Team has a current retained opportunity for a Customer Service Representative on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Mid Glamorgan and we are looking for applicants that have 2-3 years experience in Customer Service or Inside Sales, ideally within a manufacturing business.
This position is fully office based, 5 days a week and is located on a moderm business park in , Abercynon.
The location is easilly accessible from the A470 and has public transport links within a 5 minute walk. For those who are keen cyclists, the facility has a secure bike storage and showers.
Full training will be provided, but we are looking for people that are happy to work idependently within a small team, whilst developing relationships with Sales and the wider European team.
Working closely with the Applications Engineer you will answer customer queries, provide quoatations, submit propsoals and also be available for aftermarket queries.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to speak and write clearly and persuasively. Must be able to balance team and individual responsibilities, exhibit objectivity and openness to others' views. Contributes toward building a positive team spirit.
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Navision, MS Office; specifically, Outlook, Excel and Word
- Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and customers. Must have impeccable attention to detail.
- Demonstrate confidence, a positive attitude, be a self-starter and possess good organizational skills. Individual should be committed to expanding product knowledge and utilize all available resources; striving for continuous improvement.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills are critical. Self-starter, able to work with cross-functional teams. Strong time management skills that require little supervision. Ability to work under deadlines and focus on multiple projects with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize workload to meet changing business needs. Individual should have the ability to adapt and work effectively with a variety of situations and personalities. Must be able to maintain integrity, confidentiality and professional maturity.
Qualifications
- 2 - 5 years related experience.
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Navision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, and other office software applications Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
