Job description
Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for a Senior Associate Supply Chain (GMP) for our Multinational Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology client based in Breda. Initial 12-month contract. For a maternity cover. This is a hybrid position, where you have to be 1- 2 days a week onsite, but this is flexible.

Main Responsibilities of the role
- Day-to-day Business Support.
- Support DPT Salesforce case completion for ERP systems in area of OTC & PTS such as ERP,EDI, reporting tools & systems. This includes daily operations support, business user access management & training, troubleshooting , deviation support.
- Support execution of Global Supply Chain Digital (ERP, EDI, etc.) project portfolio.
- Contribute monthly departmental performance KPIs.
- Ownership of “sales views” master data maintenance in ERP system.
- Contribute to Product launch assessment for Sales area data from ERP system point of view.
- Process Improvement & Projects
- Coordinate the progress tracking on Global SC project portfolio
- Support process improvement initiatives and projects as Business Owner or Tester, including business requirement gathering and sign-off, execution of user acceptance test and approvals for system changes and related documentation.
- Ownership of Business Changes (CCMS) for minor enhancements.
- Ownership of departmental SOPs, WI and GDE.
- Contribute as SME to business case & project charter from initiation till approval for ERP Enhancements.
- Leads and/or participates in departmental and multi departmental /cross-functional initiatives leading to the improvement of supply chain and/or related enterprise-wide programs.
- Contribute to enhance department documentation and training according to changing environments (e.g. SOP’s, Training Materials).
- Act as Subject Matter Experts for PTS & OTC area to represent Global Supply Chain towards different organizations of company such as IS, Compliance, Quality etc.

- All activities are performed by following SoX, GxP guidelines along with the standard operating procedures at our client.
- Good understanding system in/outbound processes, and regional differences where LSP’s are maintained.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in logistics, economics or information technology.
- Typically, 3 or more years’ experience in the international supply chain (OTC, PTS) preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Basic knowledge / work experience in latest technologies (such as SAP,SF, RPA…).
- Working experience in Agile/PMP/PMI/Prince2 methodologies.
- SAP OTC/PTS Trainer.
- UAT tester, Business process ownership, Change Control assessments/management.
- Knowledge of Operational Excellence tools, Six Sigma, LEAN principles.
- Knowledgeable of and familiar with good distribution practices.
- Good technical writing skills.
- APICS, SCOR certification.
- Excellence in working with MS Office and experience with ERP systems preferably SAP.
- Solid understanding and knowledge of SAP OTC and PTS along with the related business processes.
- Working experience in cross cultural environment.
- Solid end-to-end supply chain understanding (manufacturer to end-user) and well versed on digital supply chain and EDI communication knowledge.
- Solid experience in project management/business ownership across departments and geographies.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to distil insights.
- Independent self-starter, able to work autonomously, under pressure and in teams.
- Result focused and proven ability to deliver results.

- Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal & written).

- Fluent in English, both in verbal and written communication.
- Process Management & Technical Expertise: Applies a solid understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, , root cause analytics, and technical knowledge to solve issues , optimize operational workflows and able to provide SAP/EDI training, ensuring compliance through the creation and management of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Communication & Stakeholder Management:
- Demonstrates effective communication skills by delivering clear feedback on issue resolution aligned with the values of our client, offering training, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and ensure alignment on digital related process improvements and system changes.
- Project, Enhancement and Change Management:
- As Business Owner, Tester or SME supports and leads departmental and cross departmental projects, enhancements and operational excellence initiatives by applying actively utilizing project management principles/skills and effectively manages change initiatives, ensuring smooth implementation of new processes and technologies while fostering team adaptation.
- Problem Solving & Accountability:
- As Business Owner actively identifies operational issues and provides timely practical and feasible solutions using relevant data and with applicable details to ensure accountability for meeting deadlines and achieving key operational deliverables.
