Job description

The service holder shall be involved in the FFD FEED and will be in charge of all the technical safety studies in particular process safety engineering and related operational requirements, including company and international standards (e.g., NFPA, API).

The service holder will provide company-wide technical guidance and assistance during design-related to CPF facilities for adequacy of design, operations and maintenance. The service holder will initiate and participate in studies to resolve specific problems outside currently available technology.

During FEED, the service holder will oversee the performance of the FEED CTR on time and on budget FEED deliverable submission for her or his scope of work and as well actively participate in the EPC CFT preparation.

The service Holder could as well be involved during the current pre-feed extension.

The service holder will perform this work in accordance with Client and Project rules, guidelines and procedures.

ACTIVITIES

The service holder must possess strong experience in technical safety, and be able to identify, control and manage risks related to her or his scope of work and highlight any opportunities.

This includes adhering to the Company Code of Conduct, Vision, Values and Behaviours, as supported by the Safe System of Working including Accountability of Safety.

The Service holder shall:

▪ Reviews Contractual documents (Contractual Scope of Work, Responsibility Matrix, BoD, Project Technical specifications, Company standards) related to his or her discipline.

▪ Participates to inter-discipline check of documents for its field of activity.

▪ Review the hazard identification and consequence evaluation exercises.

▪ Review the safety studies (EER, dropped object, flare radiation...).

▪ Participate and review the hazardous area classification drawings.

▪ Review and comment the fire and gas matrix.

▪ Review and analyse the fire and gas, safety appliance locations and escape routes drawings, the specification of fire protection and fire detection systems.

▪ Attend to the preparation / coordination of the documentation package for safety reviews (HAZID, FIREPRAN, HAZOP, SIL...), and produces the safety review reports.

▪ Review and guide the design of fire protection and fire detection systems, the design of EER system

▪ Assist to the hydraulic studies of fire water systems.

▪ Review the data sheets and the requisitions and perform Bid evaluations for the fire protection equipment and the life-saving appliances, assists to the definition of the lay-out.

▪ Assist to the performance of the risks analysis and/or reliability studies. Shall review the noise control activities.

▪ Verifies the correct implementation of the HSE aspects in the design and vendors documentation through audits and reviews.

▪ Shall be aware of CLIENT HSE Standards.

▪ Update and maintain engineering documentation and drawings.

▪ Knowledge of environmental principles, practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and current Country legislative issues.
